How and When to Enroll

Registration is open all year round. To register, please fill out the application form, mail it or drop it off at our office, together with a cheque. Payment can also be made with debit card. Registration must be received before the beginning of each new session.

For students who wish to determine their exact level, a placement test can be completed on-line or in person at the office. Students who have successfully completed a level, can move up to the next level.

Tuition and Registration Fees

The tuition fee is $280 for 25 hours of instruction excluding textbook.
All students will receive a free annual membership card. The IIC membership offers the following benefits:

- free access to the Institute's cultural events;
- free access to the Institute's library and movie collection;
- discounts to selected cultural events and movie screenings;
- bursaries to study Italian in Italy;
- information about Italian cultural events in Toronto. 
 
Refunds

The Institute reserves the right to cancel any course should the minimum number of six students not be reached, in which case students may decide to go ahead with the course upon additional payment.
No refund is granted after course commencement. However, if a student cannot attend the course and informs the office within seven days from the beginning of the course, fees can be accredited to a subsequent term.

Placement test


To be placed at the appropriate level, please click on Placement test, complete, and send it via email by pressing the "Submit" button or print it, complete, mail or fax it to the Italian Cultural Institute.
